EZshine Contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensure Access to Water and Sanitation.

Today, by living in the urban area, we seldom intuitively realize the shortfall in freshwater resources. However, that is not the whole story of the world: billions of people - mostly in rural areas - still face serious water safety problems.

Let’s take a brief review of water crisis facts and figures:

·>80% of wastewater is discharged into rivers or sea without any pollution removal;

·≈70% of all water abstracted from rivers, lakes and aquifers is used for irrigation;

·3/10 people lack access to safely managed drinking water services;

·Each day, nearly 1,000 children die due to preventable water and sanitation-related diarrheal diseases.

UN General Assembly launched the Water Action Decade on 22 March 2018, to mobilize action that will help transform how we manage water. As our social responsibility, EZshine was roused to action by the appeal.

Driven by EZshine mission: to build a greener, healthier, more eco-friendly and sustainable world, EZshine R&D center is committed to the innovative Tough-Flex Polycrystal Technology applied to the floor pads, aiming to reduce the dependence on the chemicals in daily cleaning. EZshine is ambitious on minimizing the usage of chemicals by cleaning activities, trying to prevent the water pollution in process.

Furthermore, by joining the social foundation - Made Blue, since April 2021, with every 5 floor pads sold, EZshine donates 1,000 litres of clean drinking water. According to Made Blue official statistics, by the end of October 2021, the water donation made by EZshine has provided 372 people in the developing countries with clean drinking water for one year.

Clean water is such an essential resource for life-being, for which EZshine will make a sustained effort. Ensure the safety of clean water, it’s a strategic and significant public project. EZshine encourages all the fellow partners to participate in it. The world needs us to make a change!
