An uneven floor is of high risk for the people and it will consume your floor pads and machines very fast so the first step before floor renovation is to make the floor even and clean. If your floor is rough and uneven with too many lippages for example from 0.2 mm to 2 mm then you have to do it.

In the second case that if your floor is seriously damaged with heavy-duty scratches, etch marks, cement residues, old and hard coating layers, etc... Then we have to make it clean first with a fine surface.
